Healthcare and Information Management Solution Expertise Drive Business Innovation for Healthcare Organizations
ITASCA, IL (September 24, 2013) – Ajilitee today announced that it has added Blue Cross of Idaho and a second major Blues health insurer to its growing stable of clients seeking healthcare analytics and information management consulting support. Ajilitee also expanded its relationship with HealthNow New York Inc., an existing Blues health plan client.
“We understand the business challenges and opportunities facing today’s healthcare insurers. We also have deep technical skills and project management capabilities that are known to be among the best in our industry,” said Bill Whittemore, Ajilitee Practice Lead. “We’re pleased to help these leading health payers realize the full potential of their data and information assets.”
Ajilitee is providing Blue Cross of Idaho with reporting and analytics resources in support of the company’s new Contact Center Technology implementation. Ajilitee is creating call center reporting and analytics that will deliver insight about the customer service center to improve efficiency, member service and satisfaction.
“Our focus points include providing quality services and benefits to our members, operating efficiency, and effectively managing costs to maximize the value we deliver to our customers,” said Tom Barrieau, Manager, Information Management Team at Blue Cross of Idaho. “The advanced analytics and reporting capabilities that we developed with Ajilitee support these critical objectives.”
At HealthNow New York, Ajilitee supports the integration of member, provider and claims data across numerous source systems for the new healthcare analytics platform.
“We are rapidly pursuing an advanced physician engagement agenda at HealthNow through clinical integration,” said Michele Mercer, Director of Healthcare Services, HealthNow New York. “Our new healthcare analytics platform not only supports regulatory reporting requirements, but also allows us to share healthcare analytics with our partner healthcare providers, engaging them in our developing clinical integration agenda.”
For another regional Blues plan, Ajilitee is leading an extensive upgrade and re-platform for the health plan’s enterprise data warehouse from DataStage Server to DataStage Enterprise Edition. The effort includes new data integration architecture along with revised data movement processes, design mappings and source code. Ajilitee also is responsible for the system testing and quality assurance for the overall solution. In addition to onsite support, Ajilitee has established an offsite development center staffed with 12 team members to accelerate the solution implementation and reduce costs. The client selected Ajilitee because of the team’s history of successfully delivering large-scale projects for similar organizations.
