Our consulting business is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking full-time resources to fill key  leadership roles in data architecture at current engagements in the northeastern United States.

Ajilitee needs Data Architects who can build a global enterprise architecture. Candidates must have the ability to think through how to answer key business questions using data structures and data architecture and who share our standards of excellence, dedication to client service, and commitment to innovation through information.  Our healthcare-centric clients require individuals who understand healthcare data—claims, members, providers, lab, pharmacy—and can engage with business SMEs to develop solutions.

Duties include the following:

• Participate in creating Data and Architecture strategy and deliverables
• Create a conceptual data architecture including the data representations at each point in the data flows (healthcare enterprise data model)
• Map primary data flows through BI technical components
• Review and design data integration approach and model
• Map and document data subject areas related to analytical needs (BI need)
• Document data quality issues through interviews and observations and design an architecture to remediate issues found
• Document the mastering sources and mastering processes
• Implement data layer components of reference data, metadata, and security architectures
• Design a data integration logical architecture using client’s technology components
• Adapt the Ajilitee Value Framework to evaluate the technical and data integration architecture
• Define an environment for detailed requirements analysis and Agile BI implementation approaches
• Provide data architecture maintenance processes for ongoing management

Our clients need consultants who will mentor their staffs and help them develop skills to manage on their own down the road.  We “lead by example,” which means we expect our consultants to roll up their sleeves and be very hands-on during the project.

We also have roles for Business Data Analysts, Data Quality Analysts, Data Modelers, MDM SMEs, Data Governance Leads, and Information Management Strategists with specializations in healthcare and other verticals like Financial Services and Retail.  Most positions are presently based in the northeast.

Desired Skills & Experience

Candidates should have 7-10 years of experience as a Data Architect.  Hands-on expertise with various data architecture and modeling tools, such as ERwin, ER Studio, etc.  Consulting experience in healthcare payer or healthcare provider environment is highly desirable, although we do have opportunities in Financial Services and Retail as well.  Preference given to those in the New York/New Jersey region.  Opportunities exist for full-time regular employment with Ajilitee or contract roles for local (NY/NJ based) independent contractors.  Recruiting organizations, please do not respond as we have sufficient coverage through existing partners.
